Gatekeeper for homes

A safer internet for real life.

Gatekeeper stops known phishing, scam, malware and tracking sites before they load, for the devices on your home network. One router setting, no software to install.

Your internet carries things you never asked for.

Every page you open loads dozens of things in the background. Many of them are not for you.

  • Ads that follow you from site to site
  • Trackers that build a profile of your family
  • Phishing sites pretending to be your bank
  • Malware trying to reach the people who sent it
  • Scam sites built to fool kids and parents
  • Apps sending your data home

Like a water filter for your internet.

The water still flows. The bad stuff stays out. Gatekeeper answers your home’s lookups, so the sites you want load and the known-bad ones on our lists are stopped before they reach you.

How it works

  1. 01

    Subscribe from home

Sign up while you are on your home Wi-Fi. We detect your home's public address, so there is nothing to look up.

  2. 02

    Check your email

Your welcome email has the two addresses for your router’s DNS setting, a link to protect your phone, and your Gatekeeper Home link.

  3. 03

    Change one setting

Update the DNS setting on your router. Devices that use it are protected. No apps to install, nothing for the kids to uninstall.

What it does. What it is not.

Gatekeeper does

  • Block known phishing, scam and malware sites
  • Cut malware off from the servers that control it, when those servers are on our lists
  • Reduce ads and trackers before they load
  • Reject forged answers for sites that publish digital signatures
  • Offer an optional filter for adult content and gambling

Gatekeeper is not

  • An antivirus replacement
  • A VPN or a hardware firewall
  • A guarantee against every threat
  • A substitute for strong, unique passwords

Think of it as your home's first line of defense. Keep antivirus and updates on each device.
